Product Description
The S-402A is a 40 input, 2 output audio routing system. The various front panel mode switches allow the S-402A to be used as a 40x2 mono audio router, a 20x1 stereo audio switcher, or as a summing switcher (in either stereo or dual 20 x 1 mono).
Source and mode selections may be made from the front panel, or remotely using the RS-422/RS-232 serial port. An optional remote control panel which duplicates the front panel controls (except the output level controls) is also available.
Audio presence and peak indicators are located on the front panel, and are also accessible from the serial port for remote monitoring applications.
Front panel level controls permit gain adjustment for each output. The rear panel audio connections are made using screw-clamp terminal blocks, ensuring secure connections.
