VideoQuip FC-1: S/PDIF or Optical to AES/EBU and Audio S/PDIF to AES3

The FC-1 is a digital audio format converter for consumer S/PDIF to professional AES3 conversion.
This compact (3.6W"x1.4H"x6.7D") unit features both coaxial (RCA) and optical digital inputs, and a locking XLR AES3 digital output.
The sampling taye of the incoming digital audio is displayed on the front panel LEDs. Standard sample rates of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz are supported by the FC-1. The additional STATUS LED on the front panel indicates the presence of a valid S/PDIF input signal fronm either input connector. This LED illuminates steadily when an S/PDIF digital audio signal is detected. As a troubleshooting aid, the STATUS LED will flash if the incoming digital audio is already in the AES3 format, as determined by the channel status data.
