Product Description
The DM-1B is a portable monitoring system for AES/EBU digital audio signals.
The unit provides a D/A (digital to analog) converter, headphone amplifier, and LED display of the incoming sampling frequency (32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, or 48 kHz). Simply plugging a valid AES/EBU signal into the back of the DM-1B allows headphone monitoring of the signal, with visual status.
Any standard headphone from 8 to 600 ohm impedance may be used. A front panel level control adjusts the headphone volume.
The input termination may be switch in or out, using the provided rear panel switch. This permits monitoring of patchbay connections without loading the signal.
The DM-1B is powered by a single 9V battery or AC adapter.
