Product Description
The DDA-104 is a 1 input, 4 output AES/EBU digital audio distribution amplifier for two channel stereo digital audio signals.
The DDA-104 features transformer coupled inputs and outputs to improve common mode rejection over longer transmission line lengths. In addition, a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) based receiver facilitates clock recovery and regeneration, allowing a reclocked data stream to be generated at each of the 4 independent outputs.
LED indicators on the front panel allow for convenient determination of the incoming sampling rate of the digital audio signal. A separate indicator LED is provided for each of the standard sampling rates of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. Additionally, a signal present or LOCK status LED will be illuminated in the presence of an AES/EBU signal at the input connector.
Inputs and outputs are 3 pin XLR connectors as per the AES specification and are located on the rear panel.
Includes built-in power supply with an attached power cord.
Comes standard in a desk-top version, but can be ordered in a rackmount configuration.
