Product Description
The DAC-2 is a high resolution, low noise digital to analog converter for demanding professional applications.
The signal format (AES3 or S/PDIF) is selectable from the front panel. LEDs also indicate the input signal sampling frequency (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz) and other digital status information (pre-emphasis and lock status). The output gain is adjustable using the recessed left and right front panel controls.
Analog audio output connectors are the balanced XLR type, to interconnect readily with most types of equipment. The AES3 and S/PDIF input connectors are XLR and RCA types, as per the respective standards.
A word sync output is also provided, in order to sunchronize other devices with the DAC-2 internal clock.
Includes built-in power supply with an attached power cord.
Comes standard in a desk-top version, but can be ordered in a rackmount configuration.
